The safety of Charleston's communities is a top priority for William. He plans to address rising crime and ensure residents feel safe in their homes. He also aims to reinvest in recreation centers and youth programming, recognizing the importance of community infrastructure.
With 25 years of experience in real estate, William understands the difference between good and bad development. He is committed to standing up to developers that threaten our city’s character and ensuring all development fits within the quality and scale of the city we love. He also plans to lead the way in regional infrastructure planning, working with various levels of government and the private sector to secure funding.
William is committed to getting the city back on track. He plans to balance the budget without raising taxes, fill positions, and find solutions to issues like parking, local ordinance enforcement, keeping our streets clean, renewing business licenses, and improving city walkways. He also plans to take a regional approach to addressing flooding and affordable housing.
Charleston is at crossroads. Our decisions in the next 5 to 10 years will define our trajectory for the next century. We need a leader who is not afraid to make tough decisions, who is proactive rather than reactive, and who takes responsibility when things don’t go according to plan. William is that leader.
If you believe in a new direction for Charleston, consider donating to William's campaign. Your support will help bring about the change our city needs. Together, we can make a difference.
